To all those packing up and hitting the road or the air this Thanksgiving holiday, your wallets just got a little heavier.
According to AAA Travel, the prices of gas and domestic roundtrip flights are going to decrease during this Thanksgiving holiday.
Gas prices are expected to hit their lowest since 2008.
And with 46.9 million people said to drive over 50 miles during Thanksgiving this year, this is gravy.
“This is a 0.6% increase over last year’s Thanksgiving travelers last year, and it marks the seventh year in a row the number of travelers has grown.” – Travel Weekly
For air travelers, AAA’s Leisure Travel Index projected roundtrip flight fares to decrease 10% for an average of a $169 roundtrip fare across the top 40 domestic routes.
